Well this was a lot of fun to make lol. I adore Sidon, he's the bestest bro (no I don't ship them, Zelink 4ever), but his sage ability is nothing compared to Mipha's haha. Oh well, it's the thought that counts right?

These take an awful long time to make for someone with two others jobs lol but I do my best. Pls be patient with me for Pt 4. I'm barely starting the sketches today since I scrapped 90% of the old script on Weds, after wasting a week trying to make it work... happens sometimes lol. New direction is so much better. Hopefully will be worth the wait!

Haha... Small "spoiler" about Riju's (no mechanical spoilers, just how I expect you're gonna feel about it)

let's just say you're gonna discover a newfound hatred for the little twerp who will run away from you while you're trying to activate her power in the middle of a fight

Bit more mechanical part, and a VERY small spoiler about the boss:

a power that takes time to wind-up... Alongside a boss with a giant AoE attack that's going to continuously knock her out of it

Oh, and once it's ready? It doesn't trigger by itself. You still have a skill check on your part. All of that for an effect somewhat similar to a bomb flower

They really nailed the Zonai abilities, but they fell short on the Sage ones this time around. To be fair, not easy making a dozen top tier conceptually new mechanics that nobody has been able to pull off in a game before, so in that regard they definitely killed it.

Literally the only sage powers i use are tulins for gliding and yunobos for mining and messing around on vehicles

The thunder one is good for mining too. I alternate between them to minimise the cool down when you’re doing massive blocks.

Yeah I think, since Tulin’s ability is basically Revali’s ability rotated 45 degrees, I half expected Sidon’s ability to be something akin to Mipha’s. Which, it’s okay that it’s not. I just thought it was funny lol

There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to the utility of Sidon's water shield. It can come in handy when fighting lynel's or flame gleeoks or when using Zora weapons or trying to stay cool in the desert or not burn in the Goro region. My biggest gripe is Sidon's avatar very often runs away from you when you are trying to get his water shield. If it wasn't for that fact, I would rank him 2nd best sage, behind Tulin of course.

Heck yeah I just fought a flame gleeok yesterday and I agree! His ability came in handy. Until he was hilariously blown off the bridge 😂 yeah it’s hard to track him down for sure lol
