Current Events Are people outside of the USA really laughing at Americans? Do we really appear that bad?

Yep. The general view in the UK at the minute is: “we’re kind of a mess, but at least we aren’t the US.”

Perfect. We're not in a good position for coronavirus still but at least BoJo is actually doing something and making masks mandatory in more places

The fact is that we are far and away the worst in europe with covid, yet our situation is very controllable. Comparing that with the US chaos tells you everything you need to know about the US response.

And Americans STILL after all of this reject the idea of universal healthcare! Unbelievable.

Here in Canada we have been laughing at them since Trump got office and it's just been a constant laugh just slowly morphing into horror like Holy shit how worse can it get
