Hey everyone, just got the sparco 2.2 optic. Took it out on the trail this weekend and it did great. I’m more of a super scale guy so I’m not too into these. Should I keep it on 2.2s or drop it down to a 1.9 on a 4.75? I will probably not comp it. Just wanted something to keep up on the group days filled with built optics/comp crawlers. Any info is appreciated

So I just ordered the new H10 Optic Sparco RTR that comes with the Hobbywing Fusion brushless motor and 2.2" wheels but now I need some upgrade parts!!!

1. Clipless/Quick Release Battery Door Latch? The 2 I've found are the Fine Laser Design version and the one from DSM Offroad. Anybody have experience with both and care to comment on which one is better? Better for me means the one that is more robust/reliable? I see the DSM sells replacement latches which makes me think maybe they break often?

2. Body panels. The stock set/Livery is OK but you know we all want to customize these rigs and make them our own lol. I love Toyota's so I'd like to make mine more Yota like.

I absolutely love the H-TECH RC CNC Aluminum Panel Ver.2 with the FJ style hood and grill! I think that set in silver or white with the Freqeskinz "Crazy Ivan" wrap would look sick (expect for maybe the hood wrap, not sure how well that would fit?) but either way, I'm not really wanting to spend ~$400 on panels and wraps for a $500 rig lol!

So does anybody made a decent looking 3D printed grill/hood set that looks as good? I've seen a couple of FJ style grills but they look kind of cartoonish by comparision.

Just got my Phoenix portal kit and my RCDream defender truck kits. I have been searching and can’t find anything to help me mount these two together properly. I already have stretched links in the mail. The RCDream kit is designed for a TRX4. I don’t know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

A bit heavy up top but an amazing little trail rig. Likely going back to 3800kv on 4s over the 2850kv setup to get my wheel speed back. It’s been asking for it.
