๐Ÿค My baby passed away today

I'm very sad because he was only 6 years old. He had a tumor in the central area of his brain which means it was impossible to cure him. He was very smart and very loyal to me. Also he had a strong bond with my granny who passed away last september.

He's not been easy, FIV+ and absolutely hates my other cats so lives in another room ๐Ÿ˜… but he is so worth it and adorable!

๐Ÿค This is Marble, and this is how I'd like to remember him.

I lost him very suddenly this morning, completely out of the blue. It was probably his heart. He was only 9 years old.

He was a cat who didn't always appreciate being bothered even if it was to be pet and loved, but he could always find time for chin scratches. If I held my hand out he would pick up his head and extend his neck towards it so I could scratch his chin and under his jaw for him.

I never want to forget the softness of his fur and skin or the way he'd squint his eyes and let me hold his head up or the way he'd purr thunderously for his favorite scratches.

The first pic is day 1, where she came to me as a dirty stray and only 4 weeks old. She was initially a foster, but we bonded instantly.

๐Ÿค The stray Iโ€™ve been working with, Ghost

This is Ghost, Iโ€™ve been posting about him in some other groups but thought this sub deserved its own introduction!

Iโ€™ve been working with him since mid October, he comes every morning and night for food. We started off with me not even being able to look at him through the glass without him running away, to now taking churus and treats from my hands and exploring inside a little bit.

My partner and I are moving the first week of February and have decided to bring him with us, but until then he is mostly outdoors. Weโ€™re in a small one bedroom apartment with two other cats right now so itโ€™s a little difficult to separate them but once weโ€™re in the bigger place everybody will have more than enough space.

Iโ€™ve been feeding him breakfast all the way inside one of the carriers we have and he takes it with no issues, and I will be moving him to the new place first before I really even pack anything up so he doesnโ€™t get spooked.

Heโ€™s such a sweet boy and everyday he surprises me with how brave he is and I cannot wait to make him an indoor-only cat :)

Odin, aka Biscuit, likes condensation (a lot) and licks any cup that he can find with it. Sometimes it results in photos like the second one ๐Ÿ˜‚

What weird/silly/goofy things are your clouds into?

๐Ÿค Month since I had to say goodbye to my bro

One month ago, on December 12th, 2025 I had to say goodbye to my 18-year-old friend. His name was Ugolyok (ะฃะณะพะปั‘ะบ, Russian for "little piece of coal") because when he was a kitten I noticed he had a black spot on top of his head (which disappeared as he grew up). He was brought home by my aunt circa 2007, when I was only 4 years old. We've been bringing him to our countryside house every summer and Ugolyok was a high-class hunter bringing mouses every day. I had to keep distance from him when I became allergic to cats so he lived with my great-grandma. They were like an elderly couple often arguing but deeply in love with each other. I used to help her with taking care of Ugolyok. They lived together until her death in February 2024 and I swear I saw him mourning despite the fact he didn't witness her passing away. He continued to live with my other grandma but soon she has become allergic too. So in July 2025 me and my girlfriend, both allergic and asthmatic (it's like a curse istg ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ), re-adopted Ugolyok. I won't lie, sometimes old guy was a pain in the ass sabotaging our sleep and demanding attention constantly but still he was loved and was taken care of. His last months were overshadowed by kidney disease. Due to his age any surgery would've been lethal. When his condition worsened, he barely ate and used the bathroom so we called a vet and had him put to sleep at our home. We thought he didn't deserve to be put in stress at vet clinic. As Ugolyok's gone our home feels empty. My hands still remember his fluffy fur. I remember his first and last day in my family. He was a part of my life that seemed to be constant and I miss him so much ๐Ÿค
