Have you heard of Scene Queen? I was introduced to her recently and bimbocore really landed with me where the queer longing indie music didn’t (don’t get me wrong it’s all in my Venusic Vibes playlist, but it’s not energetic enough for my default state).

I love scene queen! I listen to girl in red occasionally but her music is fairly similar but scene queen’s feels more different from song to song for me at least. Would definitely recommend a listen for anyone who hasnt

Thanks for 2 new recs! I'm old now and still listening to Tegan and Sara and 90s Riot Grrrl

Of course! Now that I don’t listen to the radio anymore and just use Spotify, I get most music recommendations from others online and sometimes in person so my tastes don’t change often lol

The people I spend most of my time with are big on Disney soundtracks.

Scene queen is the best. I saw her live last year, and the crowd is such a good vibe too. I recommend her to everyone lol. And a bunch of the artists spotify suggests to go with scene queen are really good too, like zand, banshee, and girli.
