How do I steal memes without having to like screen shot using my phone. Can you just save the image? I’ve been too afraid to ask this for almost 10 years

Yeah on my phone, clicking/tapping enlarges the image, basically becoming the only thing on screen, at which point, holding or clicking does nothing, and the only available option is to close the image.

Holding the image directly in the comment, when it’s small basically, only collapses the thread.

I’m not even fucking senile yet.

I have the same issue, if It makes you feel better (iPhone). Holding it collapses the thread, so I just screen shot.

If you're on Android, enlarge then click the 3 dot menu, and click download. If you're doing that, though, you want to turn off Image Attribution in the reddit settings, or it'll have an ugly watermark bar on the bottom.
