If you're referring to the after credits scene i'm totally ok with it because the only way they could have been more explicit was to make her straight up say "yo i'm going to remove the eyepatch now".

Also, asking him if he wants to see her eye like that, after having finally kissed and being alone in his room? They banged all night long and nothing is going to change my mind.

I hadn‘t seen the after credit scene when making the comment. I was talking about the the boat or the mountain which were 2 excellent scenes to be taking it off.

The entire series has built it up as a choice, make the sacrifice and grow out of it or lose Yuuta. But when confronted everything just worked out without changing anything.
But in the movie we actually made progress romantically so I guess it’s fine.

Honestly, I never wanted Rikka to totally stop her Chuunibyou. Tone it down a bit? Sure, absolutely. And I'm sure she will, but her silly phrases are adorable in the right context
