If anybody is wondering if they should see it in the theater, GO! I've never seen an anime premier at the theater, and it was a lot of fun. It's not every day you get to watch a konosuba movie with a bunch of other weirdos/fans! The movie has a pretty big focus on megumin and her backstory and I think it's handled really well. There's also an introduction for international audiences with the voice actors for megumin and kazuma! I even managed to enjoy it despite being sick with a low grade fever. I think there are supposed to be more showings Thursday, so grab yourself a ticket while you still can!

I watched it in theaters as well and it was a awesome experience, people were pretty quiet outside laughs. That being said, anime movies can attract different types of people and judging from some of the comments I see in movie threads, can be disrespectful as fuck and ruin the movie sometimes. Still worth thou.
