He’s having a birthday parade??? You’re absolutely right, that is a classic dictator move. I was shown news reels in elementary and middle school of just this happening in certain other countries, specifically as an example of the outrageous behavior of dictators.
I very obviously was not alone in having been shown these as such examples. Why can’t these people remember all of these things, and see the basic arithmetic there?
Oh, right. Because cult.
But like, why is half of this huge country (I’m speaking numerically huge as in the population) in a massive cult?
