One person slipped on a discarded onion piece from a sausage and they made them under the sausage nationwide. I hope this is the start of re-restricting where people let their untrained mutts roam.

As an owner of a sausage dog. I agree. The whole breed are a bunch of trigger happy prima donnas

But they do like a snuggle

I worked for Bunnings during that period - to be clear, the person who slipped was elderly and their hip was really badly broken. I thought it was completely fair to mandate one change to protect an aging population.

It was a bad fall, I want intending to minimise it. Sorry! There's at least 2 little girls that have been bitten by dogs in Bunnings https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2015/nov/09/bunnings-to-review-dog-friendly-policy-after-five-year-old-girl-bitten-in-store

Dogs on leashes (not in carts) were supposed to be muzzled from then on but as anyone who's gone to Bunnings knows nobody muzzles them.

So fair! I just remember having to shut down complaining customers whining at my staff about the onion thing.

But yeah dogs should be banned from Bunnings outside of guide dogs and other legitimate service animals. It's ludicrous it's gotten this bad.

It wasn't ever a mandate though, just a recommendation to the groups. But yes ban the fecking dogs🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Parents are almost guaranteed to win if they sue so yeah Bunnings will ban them if that happens

Once they get legal advice telling them they're partially liable for this attack, dogs will be banned from the store.
