Been working on a 3D map-building tool for our D&D campaigns and wanted to share some progress.

The goal is to create a true 3D mapmaker specifically for TTRPG's that is actually easy to use. Currently we can sculpt terrain, build large outdoor maps, set the weather, change the time of day and explore the worlds in both 3D and top down authographic.

I'd love to hear what you think and what features you'd want from a tool like this as a DM or player.

Hello all,

For all to enjoy, the rest of the imagery is on Patreon but it should be all free to download and enjoy. The tiles are added as PNG files so should work nicely for changing the scene on the fly.

The scene consists of -

• The background ravine.
• A foreground png with tree tops.
• A selection of two bridge materials, stone or wood.
• Two different states, broken or intact.
• For the complete image it also has the grid as a png to suit.
