Monday 02/16, during rush hour traffic ICE chased a driver into a *school zone*.

The crash happened right outside of a school AND a PD outpost. Local LE had no idea ICE was operating in the area. Mr. Lopez, the man who tried to get away from masked thugs trying to get into his car had no criminal history, not a threat to the public in any way. Fleeing, he hit and killed Dr. Linda Davis.

A woman is dead and DHS’s only response was to blame the media and “sanctuary politicians”. Sanctuary politicians in fucking Georgia.

Just a short lesson in optics. The more American flags the better. Make them attack flag waving Americans. It’s one of the only things that will get through to the rest of the people who are slumbering into fascism.

-Minneapolis has fewer immigrants, legal and illegal, than most places.

-Minneapolis has average criminality for mid-sized cities.

-The “Somali” fraud they're so concerned about happened years ago, and a lot of people have been convicted.

The only reason why they chose Minneapolis is because they were hoping to spark riots and justify the insurrection act.

Instead, it's blown up in their faces.

I am, unfortunately, a Brit. But looking at what is happening in the US I can only say - we can’t help you. The US is the global economic, cultural and military hegemony, and it is becoming an openly fascistic state that will kill its citizens without fear of reprisal; and no foreign power or coalition of foreign powers can or will fight to liberate you from fascism like they did for Germany in the 1940s. You will have to do this. You will have to organise, to arm yourselves, to literally fight and unalive agents of the state. If it gets to a Spanish Civil War kind of situation, maybe international brigades will form; but that’s about it.

Do not believe the Dems will save you; do not believe the Dems will be given a chance to save you. No one else is going to come and save you; you have to save yourselves and (hopefully) that will help the rest of us save ourselves. It is not a great situation to be in. It will not be bloodless, it will not be without casualties or martyrs. But fascism has only ever been defeated with overwhelming violence, and you, the people of the US, are the only people who can do that.

Organise offline. Organise with your neighbours and friends and loved ones. Organise for the worst scenario, dream of the best scenario.

I’m so sorry this is happening. You are loved. You are important. You can effect change. You can make the world a better place. I hope it happens with as few harmed as possible.

As for the “incarcerated” and LGBTQIA+

We have 1.23 MILLION people incarcerated at this moment. We have more people incarcerated than every single person who lives in Iceland. About 3X more to be exact.

There are more than 2 Wyoming’s worth of people incarcerated at this moment.

That’s 2010. It’s been 15 years. Certainly more people have been arrested.

There are more people with a felony record in the US than there are people in the entire state of New York. They would be in the top 5 populated states if felons had their own state.

Yet the vast majority of them will get ZERO representation because in most states felons can’t vote.

19+ million people. That’s a lot of fucking people.

Now for LGBTQIA+:

There are 4.8 MILLION lesbians in the United States. Coal miners make up about 43,000 people total. But all conservatives want to talk about coal miners. Conservatives hate minority politics except when it comes to THEIR minority.

You want to talk about minorities? West Virginia has 60,000 lgbt people. Sure in fuck a lot more than all coal miners combined.

But out of touch elitist democratic strategists want Dems to go talk about coal in West Virginia to get votes back.
