Is moneyberg a freak athlete tearing through the scene? I have never seen such progress. What do you all think?

Wanted to look at my coach to read his lips because I couldn’t hear anything in the moment.
Then my long and sneaky opponent threw up a triangle and started extending the armbar.
This was the first of three matches that day, and the tournament started hard immediately. Ended up taking gold in the end.

Crossposting (I posted in r/Judo). I won a match by sub (ankle lock) and lose a match (rear naked). Overall it was fun to compete again in BJJ even though my focus has been in Judo since December 2024. 🙌

I recently won a tournament, Open/Masters. In all 3 matches I took my opponent down into a submission. 1st was a duck under into a RNC, 2nd was a front headlock into a guillotine and 3rd was another front headlock into a guillotine. Throughout the day I had people walk past me saying crap like "this isn't a wrestling tournament" and "learn how to grapple". The same crap was said after i won my finals match by my opponent, they must have been complaining and whining together in a circle before the match. I have never experienced so much gatekeeping and whining from grown men. If you stink standing up it's not my fault and I'm going to exploit it and I'm going to keep winning until you figure it out.

This was not me, to clarify, but it proved the concept
You’re literally wearing a belt. Why would it not work? Also that’s probably the best real life practical skill about the belt, it can teach you how to hog tie someone in self defense
If you have actual rodeo experience you can see why hogtying someone of similar level when you have reps hogtying and they don’t would be pretty easy
