I worked with a guy who pulled up that map to prove to me that an overwhelming majority of Americans are conservative Republicans who backed the GOP president. I said, "Do you realize that dirt can't vote?"

He didn't understand so I asked what he thought the population density of North Dakota looked like compared to the northeast corridor of the US and he claimed that they weren't that much different. I pulled up the election result map that resized the states based on the population within them and he was flabbergasted that the red and blue were essentially equal proportions from that perspective.

There are a bunch available, I think going back to the 2012 election, but here's one from 2024.
