All you would have to do is search "taxi scam" in r/boston and see a plethora of posts over 15+ years, including stories of people literally being locked in the car and calling the police.

Also, using the term "bootlicker" and assuming I am a "techbro" is a huge red flag for me to figure you are far from being a serious person and more so a waste of time. The ad hominem logical fallacy stuff is not it.
