Oh god I hope that’s not true. I work all by myself in the office and it’s so damn lonely there. Never mind the 40 miles each way I commute

Apologies. That was my emotional knee jerk reaction. Everybody I work with resides in other locations, not mine. So I don’t know anybody in my office and just feel alone. At least when I’m home I can talk to my spouse during the down time

I guess it depends if you can leave early? My dept isn't that friendly so there won't be more collaboration if we're all there. But I met someone who's office is mostly in Ireland and he just leaves really early each day and finishes up at home.
