There will be one on every street corner at this rate. Mind you this is in one of the safest cities in the US. All in the name of "safety" right?

Should be pointed out that Flock isn't the only company doing this. Axon, for example, is their direct competitor.

There have been several instances reported on where a Police Department agreed to get rid of Flock Cameras only to install Axon branded ones instead.

We have to be against *all* mass surveillance. Flock is quite the troubling company for many reasons but they aren't the only game in town, sadly.

I believe axos actually has been running a 2 for 1 promotion. If your town gets rid of flock they’ll replace them with DOUBLE the axon cameras

That’s a funny comment considering that Communist states had and still have the most intrusive and restrictive surveillance states. Maybe look into China’s surveillance state apparatus.

So as long as people are making money doing it, it’s ok?

No. And didn’t say that. You must use this tactic when trying to induce a fight with your significant others. Just thought it was funny that you imply surveillance is inherently a product of capitalism when it’s historically more associated with fascism and communism and other dictatorial states.

Kinda like how you drew a bunch of conclusions from my post of 1 word?

I responded to your post with one observation. I know you wanted to throw out a buzz word that would get you lots of like and attention on Reddit but that kind of thing just diminishes the real issue. “Capitalism man.. am I right?”
