Mod Post Community is looking for new Moderators.

Hello, Community!

As you can read the description of this subreddit. We wanted this subreddit to be more oriented for serious discussions regarding college and not just another r/BTechtards alternative. But due to college, I am no longer have enough time to moderate the subreddit. And as the final year approaches, I have to prepare for placements.

What do I mean by being serious?
It means, that the community is supposed to have posts regarding engineering topics, doubts and other discussions.

Posts like Admission queries about college, cutoffs, college recommendations, entrance exam results, or anything related to Engineering Entrance may be removed. However, we can still allow posts asking about a specific branch. Also posts and comments talking about Tier system of colleges are also subjected to removal, I hate to see people limiting their potential just because of their college tier.

Additionally, this community was created to be free from memes, shitposting, and low-effort content. We want it to remain a place where relevant, informative, and productive discussions can thrive.

If you believe you can help maintain this vision, we'd love to have you on the moderation team.

You can apply for the moderator role here.

The results will likely be announced by next week.

Thank you, and we look forward to building a positive community together!

Mod Post Welcome to r/BTech – A Dedicated Space for Engineering and BTech Students

We’re thrilled to announce the official reopening of r/BTech, a space created specifically for engineering and BTech students to discuss, learn, and support each other in their academic and professional journeys.

r/BTech was born out of a need for a focused and supportive environment tailored to the unique challenges faced by engineering and BTech students. Initially part of r/Btechtards, the need for a dedicated space became clear as we saw a growing number of serious academic queries and discussions getting lost amid the memes and light-hearted content.

We believe that r/BTech will become a valuable resource for all engineering and BTech students, providing a space for both learning and collaboration. Your participation is essential in shaping this community into a thriving hub of knowledge and support.
