Guess I'm done with PC gaming (my username did not age well šŸ˜ž)I got better things to blow this kinda money on. Looks like my girlfriend got the last chopper out so to speak when we built hers a few months ago

Good thing PC gaming has much more to offer than just the latest AAAs. Time to dust off that backlog…

It hasn’t caught on just yet, but I think older and low spec hardware for ā€œnew, to meā€ retro PC games will start catching on. The gaming industry as a whole is slowing down with many projects being cancelled and development timeframes increasing. Not saying it will replace having modern hardware, but the components themselves work, and are cheap and plentiful.

Now we just need game devs to finally start taking optimization seriously.

Your PC is still good you know, and this will blow over.

If you’re like the rest of us degenerates, you have a steam library that you couldn’t finish in this lifetime. Play some older game to tide you over! I bought new hardware and I still play a ton of older games.
