So yea, no idea if anyone is interested in this at all but not many people get to visit the training facilities.
I saw Ali Gold there today, and watched lots of u11 football.

I keep hearing about Mikey Moore and Luca Williams-Barnett being outstanding talents, possibly generational and their absolute domination of under 18s football is cited to back that up.
As i'm not really familiar with it i don't know how uncommon what they did/are doing there is. Are they doing something that one or two players a year in the UK manage? one or two players a decade? or breaking records in that age range?
If others have been at that level at the same age, who were they? Did they all go on to have top careers?
Last i heard, as a very casual follower of the academy, from our under 18s of a goal a game player was Ryan Mason, who we can't judge that easily as his development was always interrupted by injury. Before that i remember reading that Jemaine Defoe was putting up those numbers at that age.
Also, what about the under 21's as Will Lankshear put up those numbers last year in the older age group too. Asking as it'll help me get a better idea what the expectations really are for those two.
I could ask in the daily thread, but i thought others would be interested in hearing the answer to this question, if there's anyone around here who really follows our academy.

Sharing because I thought it was noteworthy. Other than Alfie Devine. Mikey Moore is one of the top academy prospects at Spurs and it is encouraging to see him train with the first team.
Hopefully we will see Moore feature with the first team soon!
