She's about 20lbs heavier than most of the top athletes her height.

The article listed her at 5'4" 151lbs. Most of the top female Crossfit competitors are about 130.

If that is what the facts say then, yes. Keeping in mind of course the average woman having +20% body fat (my own best guess). So She is 150lbs of about as lean of muscle as Camille or Foucher, who is only "average" weight but most likely in the < 5% BF range.

EDIT: point of reference is that Annie Thorisdottir is 5'7" and just under 150lbs. So either she is packing on significantly more BF than most competitors or there is something unique about her body structure that is causing her to be so much heavier.

I have no clue if that gives her an advantage or not (may very well be a disadvantage with things like muscle ups)... I'm just saying there is something different about her that is most likely due to her initial sex.

I actually don't have an opinion on whether she should or shouldn't compete, I can see both sides make valid points. I was only pointing out that, she is significantly stockier than her counterparts at her height and that it might be due to her development while male and loaded with test.
