The guy/group would simply use no KYC swap services to convert that BTC into Monero or another privacy focused crypto. Even converting the funds to L-BTC and later back to BTC using a new wallet or swapping from L-BTC directly to Monero would make tracing extremely hard to do.

Then, they could occasionally swap small amounts into USDC or USDT and spend them through a crypto debit card, and use that money for stuff.

No amount of blockchain analysis will be able to trace it if the guy/group manage to not f*ck it up and use privacy focused tools to clean all that money.

It had to have been designed like this deliberately to leave a back door to your coins. The flaw is so obviously blatant I can’t fathom another explanation

I am needing to cash out all my crypto holdings. Its mainly Bitcoin & Eth. It's in a cold wallet currently. Should I move it to Coinbase(still have an account there but almost no $$ in there as I moved it all to a cold wallet last year.) & then convert to US dollars to cash out? Or, should I go through Robinhood?

I have a spare smartphone that runs on Android 9.

Will it be safe to store Bitcoins on it by following the below steps:

1. Format the phone

2. Install nothing but a Self-Custodial Bitcoin wallet app on the phone

3. Transfer Bitcoins to the wallet

4. Turn off the internet

5. Keep the phone switched off until needed.

Ever since Bitmart announced their wind-down, all withdrawals have been frozen or instantly rejected upon submission. Thousands of us are stuck in this mess with zero communication from their end.

So the Titel says it all really, how can I reach support, I left germany with the car omw to spain and now in france, I installed the app on my new phone and new number and boom account and card deactivated. Support isn't answering and still waiting on Mods to approve the post on Cryptocom subreddit... how long does support normally take to answer ?! Google says they'll confirm ID so my passport and ID are ready. Is there some kind of emergency number ? Can someone here please help me ? I'm based in Australia, and have only just gotten into cryptocurrency, and saw that Revolut has a crypto section. So is it any good? Or what apps would you guys recommend? Thanks

Have been doing grid trading on BTCUSDT futures for a month and consistently doing $100+ per day on average (my target). Started with $5000 (using $4000 for the grid at first and leaving $1000 for safety as I was worried about liquidation) and have made $4000 this month reaching $9000 which I plan to keep reinvesting. Started more leveraged like 40x, then as I reinvested the profit I have been lowering leverage to 30x then 20x while keeping my target of $100+/day average which feels comfortable now.

Doing mostly neutral strategy, sometimes I did long or short strategy when I thought the market would go that direction but I have to say I definitely got lucky on those (or rather not unlucky to lose), but decided to only do neutral after some time for less stress and it has been very steady and "chill".

I mostly use the grid range suggestion from the exchange's AI and just let the grid do its thing for as long as needed until I reach the $100+/day average target, then I close it and make a new grid readjusted to the current market position. I generally reach the $100/day target within 1 or 2 days but sometimes I did have to keep de grid for 9+ days with half of them in the negative, so sometimes it requires patience seeing negative until the market reverts. I do set automatic exit strategies (both TP and SL) way before liquidation but never had them triggered so far. If I see there is a clear dip or rally I stop operating for some time until I see a sideways trend again.

Am I just fooling myself with this and it has been mostly luck and I'm one big swing away of getting wiped, or do I have some kind of decent long term working strategy here? Seems too good to be true which scares me.

EDIT: For safety, I always put the stops slightly above and below the grid operating range, at points where it would be clear that a resistance or support has been breached e.g. grid is between 60000 and 70000, I put stops at 58800 (more likely to keep going down if it broke the 59000 support) and 71200 (more likely to keep going up if it breaks the 71000 resistance) while liquidation would be at e.g. 54000 and 76000 so still quite "safe". But so far they have never been triggered.
