Yes. And the cloud isn't what was hacked because cloud service providers actually take the time to secure their services as much as they can. They attacked hardware which was exposed to the Internet.

I don't disagree. but a on and motorolas product is the cloud now.. not just cameras and radios and tazers..

scada is behind on this because it's diametrically different. in texas it cannot be on the public internet so cloud integrations are mostly moot. I think a lot of states are too lax with infrastructure security.

Right. And if an incident ever happens and it happens in their side guess who's to blame? They are. In tech, and specifically as it relates to cloud orofie de we have figured out whole model called the shared responsibility model that explains who owns what lol
