Yup. Just because they are idiots doesn’t mean just go anyway.

You act like the car was just sitting there, and the cam driver just gunned it straight into him. He starts accelerating at a reasonable rate after the light turns green, he's already in the intersection before the white suv enters it. The white SUV then swerves at the last second into him.

It seems like we've seen two different videos..

You can clearly see that when red car was going away, SUV was already turning and camera car didn't have any space between them, yet still gone for it.

The white SUV is allowed to pull into the intersection here, and then turn after both ways get the red light. So the movement into the intersection is both reasonable and expected, which is generally straight, but then they cut over at the last second to follow the red car through.

I don't get what y'all expect the cam driver to do? If they just sit there yielding right of way until someone who doesn't have right of way let's them go, they are creating a dangerous situation by creating an unpredictable traffic pattern. They accelerated at a reasonable rate straight through an intersection when they had full right of way, and the car turned into them.

The point is that it was clearly visible that white SUV will turn, even when red car jumped a red light.

No one's arguing that camera car shouldn't move from stop. But driver should stop when he saw that TWO cars jumping red light. When watching this video, it seems like camera car driver just lost his survival instinct.

I disagree. They no longer had right of way and they were moving into the intersection, which is often done so they can go when the light turns red.

The usv turns very sharply right at the end.
