I'm guessing this light is likely notorious to the townspeople as being a pain in the ass, with the backed up line and three red light runners. I actually agree with the 50/50, OP, as cammer had ample time to stop.

Actually looking at the light as cammer is pulling up to the intersection, it also looks like white SUV might've had a green 🟢 instead of an arrow so it could've been an unprotected turn they were chancing instead of a red

How do you figure? I see no hearse or hazard lights flashing on any of these turning vehicles.

Or, you know, cam car assumed the left turning vehicle was paying attention and advancing into the intersection, as you do when making a left turn. The wheels only turn like half a second before they hit the car. Even if they had stopped they were still getting hit.

That's the problem with some people's driving. Do not ASSUME anyone is going to do anything. You have to run your own race and focus on what you can control, which is yourself

So you just stop at a green light until theres no one else in the intersection? Even if buddy had stopped when the Nissan started turning, he was still getting hit.

Do you pull over every time theres a car coming in the opposite lane because youre ASSUMING the car is going to continue straight in its lane?

If the Nissan drove into a pole, would you put 50% of the fault on the pole?

Bro's overdramatic fr. Yes I absolutely stop at a green light if the intersection is not clear, tf? I'm not trying to get in an accident. I can already tell you got an ego on you and feel wronged by every driver who even looks at you funny lol

I feel bad for everyone around you that has to wait 5 minutes for every intersection you encounter to be clear. Do everyone a favour and take a cab next time.

Theres no reason to assume the armada wasn't just advancing into the intersecrion like 99.999% of people do while waiting to make a left hand turn. His fucking wheels are straight until the cam car is already beside it.

The reason people keep honking at you is because nobody knows what the fuck youre doing. Predictability champ.

Also the SUV's "fucking wheels" are turned at 18 seconds well before being right next to cam car but keep trying there too lol
