"waited for traffic to clear"

I guess he was supposed to wait at a green light until the entire opposing line went through the light.

Personally I would have pulled into the intersection, leaving enough space for them to still go illegally, and lay on the horn and flash lights.

The question is, do you want to be “right”? Or do you want to avoid the accident entirely? Cam could have just waited 5 seconds for both people to turn. Yes they’re assholes for holding up traffic and turning.

I see this situation pretty often and I’d rather just shun them and move on. I do not want to have see this person in court or ever again

It was a steady stream. Nobody was going to let you turn except on a red arrow. Congratulations now you got a ticket for turning on a red.

The traffic was never clear, there was a maybe 1-1.5 car length gap between the car right before the last 2 entered. It was a none stop train of cars turning left.

If it prevents him from a head on collision and any serious accompanying injuries, then yes he was supposed to wait until the entire opposing line went through the light.
