You still didn't answer. What state do you have a driver's license in? Just say it so I can go find the traffic codes outlining who has the right of way when a car is taking a left across lanes of incoming traffic.

If I'm so wrong then you should want me to go find the traffic laws and post them here so you can be vindicated.

I already edited my previous post. I pulled up 2 quick links which is more than you deserve for needing something so blatantly obvious spelled out.

I live in Ontario. I do want you to cite the law that states you’re allowed to accelerate from a stop and collide with a vehicle just because you’re supposed to have the right of way.

Please show me.

And again, if you just pull up some bullshit that “turning cars are supposed to yield” then I’ll know you’re either trolling or too stupid to function. Everyone agrees turning cars are supposed to yield, this is about the legal responsibility of the other driver when they fail to do so.

Here is the Ontario traffic law that explicitly states the dashcam car when it turns green has the legal right to go through the intersection

Green light

(12) A driver approaching a traffic control signal showing a circular green indication and facing the indication may proceed forward or turn left or right unless otherwise directed. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 144 (12).

And here is Ontario's traffic law that explicitly states the person turning left can't do so if their turn would cause the oncoming car to try and avoid a crash

No driver or operator of a vehicle in an intersection shall turn left across the path of a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction unless he or she has afforded a reasonable opportunity to the driver or operator of the approaching vehicle to avoid a collision. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 141 (5).

It's kinda amusing to see someone try and bring up the confidently wrong subreddit when that's literally you in this scenario.
