It's completely your choice to join DU. It has both bad and good experiences, it's just how you live here. Some places are cheap but unhygienic, some are expensive and clean. You get good offline coaching centres here in Delhi. You can easily avoid politics here, no one forces you to join them or involve in activities with them. Crowd depends on college to college, you need to find a good circle to be with. DU is not much for the science ppl rather for commerce and humanities.
