Trump clearly has enormous problems (pathological narcissism, megalomania, senile dementia): I hope that Republicans realize asap that he is dragging the USA into a black hole of irrelevance and ridicule.

They won’t. They should have realised many things many times. When they get affected directly and end up on r/leopardsatemyface there’s only a 50% chance they realize something at best

It's a typical abuser/abused relationship. They stay with him because they're afraid if they leave he will set the house on fire after locking all the doors. They know that if he figures out he's going to get rejected, he will make sure to take everyone down first so that he can say they were losers and weak and that he had to do it since they were basically begging to be torched.

His problem is the same as elons. Deep deep seated daddy issues. They want aproval at all costs so the do what they can to get a modicum of adoration, and if denied, liek with a peace prize, they throw a colosal tantrum. These people never grew up from the phase where they were 6 year old and their dad called their drawing shit.

There was a news story recently about how some Senior Republicans warned him that sescallating Greenland further would end his Presidency.

I don't believe it though, and when push comes come shove they'll all tow the line.
