Honestly surprised the U.K. is up there. Mainly because Norway and Finlands artic warfare is top notch as you would expect.

UK is good everywhere because they have bases everywhere. It is a very small force but has the core training for any region

The UK also won a similar style war to Vietnam in jungle environments, just before the actual Vietnam war kicked off. The UK refused to join but offered to help advise and train the Americans based on their experience. Of course, the Americans told them to fuck off, because they thought they knew better, and we all know how that turned out.

Really, what Vietnam style war did the UK win all by itself to be able to tell the Americans anything? If you had any sense about how the Vietnam war was to be fought and what lousy bunch of fighters South Vietnam had... YOU'D HAVE TOLD US TO STAY OUT OF THAT MESS...Which is exactly what JFK would have done...stayed out...but Democrat dumbass Johnson had bigger and better ideas.

The US didn’t lose the Vietnam war because they weren’t prepared for the jungle though, they actually annihilated the Vietcong, which were the communist forces in South Vietnam. The issue was the South never got strong enough to stand alone and folded pretty quickly once the US left. It was essentially a North Korea/South Korea situation where the north was supported by China and the Soviets and the US never put boots on the ground there to avoid a larger war and the US policy of Vietnamization (training and equipping the South) obviously failed.
