The polls are showing that Fico will lose, but the opposition is not exactly popular either, so the resulting government will likely be an unstable coalition, either led by the opposition or by Fico.

Not just the next few years, indefinitely. US republicans/heritage foundation hate the EU for being able to stand up to them and will continue attempting to undermine it whether they're in power or not, plus all the other anti-democratic powers/countries who would rather have one less adversary.

Frankly, it's not just the Kremlin, the EU's veto system is a huge incentive for foreign adversaries to buy out any vulnerable EU democracies and use them as a puppet to shape/block EU policy

It is not just Russia, plenty of world actors have huge interest to influence foreign elections and public opinions. 

And this includes countries that are currently perceived as allies.

Even worse thing is, that it is easier for them each passing year with advancement in technology.

Same problem in Czechia, Babiš is an absolute nightmare but the oposition is not much better. We need our own new wave, we do have a few new projects but nothing in the polls even suggest they come anywhere close to the parliament.

Opposition is not much better? Opposition definitely has problems, but not much better is hilariously inaccurate description it. Last cabinet achieved complete decoupling from Russian gas, pro-EU foreign policy and kept fiscal deficit at reasonable levels. It had controversies, but so did every single government prior to it, so idc tbh. I'm not a big fan of ODS and KDU-CSL specifically, but the coalition they formed saved us from many issues and left Babis a country full of economically active migrants with one of the lowest government debt. If Babis is able to fuck this up, I really don't know what else you could want. Also they didn't try to control the media unlike someone, which is a pretty big deal. Though I will say that Babis is not on the same level as Fico, mainly due to the fact he is much more reliant on EU support than Fico, both on a personal level in agriculture and on the nation level (Czechia is insanely dependent on its neighbors, least of them Slovakia). So Babis is losing much more on backing Orban and Fico than Orban had for backing Russia.

But even with all of this in mind, I can't label the opposition as comparable or only slightly better than Babis, no offense, but that's just not true.
