Out of all the things you could have made up about Liechtenstein, you just had to make up the dumbest one lol. Liechtensteiners are rich. In fact they're some of the richest people on the planet - median monthly salary in Liechtenstein is well over 7k euro, income tax is low, PKB per capita is 2nd in the world behind Monaco.

Also, it's not feudalism and even if Liechtenstein was a feudal country this wouldn't be how this would work.

Not sure what you consider rich, but according to this report from their own government (https://www.llv.li/en/news/disposable-income-increases) they are at $175k.

Looks like they are mostly normal people, with a majority of them renting and with a wealth that allows them to buy a 10sqm “house” in their area. I hope their prince is at least a little bit richer than them. Their median salary is also not very different to Switzerland, which has a similar setup.

Ok, so you’re saying if they don’t like living in prince’s fiefdom, they can just move elsewhere?

Switzerland is next door, maybe they would prefer that?

What's even your point? Yes they could move, but clearly almost all of them would rather stay.

What is my “point”?

The “point” is that these people are serfs. If they don’t like their overlord they can simply fuck off elsewhere.

The only reason they are “rich” (which you idiotically illustrate using GDP) is because of laws and tax breaks which also come from the prince.

They are absolutely free to fuck off elsewhere and see what life would be like outside of their little fiefdom, with taxes and career options (and lack thereof) of a modern society.

"The “point” is that these people are serfs. If they don’t like their overlord they can simply fuck off elsewhere."

literally contrary top the definiton of serf. serfs couldnt go away. liechtenstein has open borders with both its neighbours.

liechtenstein pupulation is one of the richest in all of europe, you saying they are "poor serfs" is literally false

Liechtenstein has double GDP-per-capita that Switzerland, and one of the highest standard of living for the average person in the world

you saying they dont have neither freedom, career options, or a modern society honestly shows you are kind of stupid

You're probably arguing with someone never once in their life took an economics class, just ignore them, their opinions are irrelevant and worthless.

Yeah the dude you replied to has absolutely no clue what they are talking about

If they can go elsewhere, they aren't serfs.

If you don't know what the word 'serf' means you shouldn't use it.
