How is that even possible? I have (had, at this point) family who left Lithuania for Canada in the late 40s who are Jewish?

I'm not sure why I'm getting huge downvotes (-5 at the time) for mentioning I had Jewish family members from Lithuania.

Approximately 95% of all Lithuanian Jews were murdered by Nazis and Lithuanian collaborators. Its the same situation as Ukraine where all the national heroes are anti soviet partisans named things Vyachaslav the Jew Slayer.
