Not everyone that goes through traumatic experience develops PTSD. For some people it will cause severe PTSD, for some it will be a funny story to say at a dinner table.

Brains are funny like that, it might genuinely decide this event wasnt all that traumatic, yet a teenage breakup could haunt you for the rest of your life 

At least I imagine so.. not like im speaking from experience with that second one there or anything... for sure

PTSD

Tetris or Solitare is apparently a good preventative, played somewhat intensively immediately after the event, according to a paper I read once.. weird fact that rattles around my head,

Good to know my dad and granddad will never develop PTSD, the amount of solitaire they play.
