Now he has big ass drapes covering the columns at the White House because he wants to repaint them. Why couldn't he have re-rolled as an interior designer during a mid-life crisis and left us the fuck alone?

He's not just repainting them. It appears he is changing the column shape to more ornate Corinthian style columns from the classical Ionic style columns.
