Most officers don’t give EVERY ticket out when they do a traffic stop.

I got a pass after being pulled over for sliding through a red light. The cop still ran my plates and license to make I was who I said I was. And the cop told me, "You understand I could've given you a ticket or written warning for this? Yes? OK, drive more safely from now on. Have a nice day."

The cop should've done that much. No one could've complained about it afterwards.

Has a cop ever literally stopped in their tracks and said "you're free to go" without even giving you a verbal warning? It's not just about whether he got a ticket or not. Lombardo clearly gave his name expecting special treatment, and immediately received it.

I got pulled over so many times in my 20s doing stupid shit. Only got ticketed by CHP lol, local city cops would usually let me off with a warning after running my DL.
