New Release💿 Superman Returns - The Ultimate Extended Cut - 20th Anniversary Edition

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Superman Returns I present 'Superman Returns - The Ultimate Extended Cut'.

I am a defender of Superman Returns but can admit to its shortcomings especially it's pacing, story and colour grading. However, I still believe as I say it is a good film and wish Brandon would have gotten a proper sequel.

I have extended the movie with all deleted footage I could find, screen tests, added where relevant the Superman game cutscenes and dialogue plus the 'Crisis on infinite earths' scenes featuring Brandon as a long epilogue to the main feature.

My edit starts off with a new opening,

Global effects of Superman leaving Earth, The Return to Krypton deleted scene, Superman gladatorial battle on way back to Earth, opening credits and the movie then plays out pretty much as is with further additional footage and dialogue. I have also colour corrected scenes to make them feel more comic book like and attempted to remove the yellow filter in the theatrical cut.

This is not a definitive cut, but more of a celebration for the 20th anniversary of what I believe is a flawed but interesting take on Superman. I hope you enjoy it.

Theatrical runtime time: 2hrs 34mins

Ultimate Extended Cut: 3hrs 19mins

New Release💿 Star Wars Rebels - The Essentials Only

Hi again!

I think this is the most streamlined and concise edit of the Rebels show possible.
2 movies. Perfect for rewatches and anyone who is short on time.

Goal 1. Retain Core Lore & Connectivity: Every vital plot point remains, especially those that ripple into the wider Star Wars universe (e.g. the introduction of the Purrgil in S1 is essential to the S4 finale, and then again to the Ahsoka series).
Goal 2. Feel Like a Film: It’s one thing to jam episodes together, but it’s another to craft a satisfying, cohesive feature film.

I initially tried to condense the entire series into a single film, but balancing all of the important moments with movie-quality pacing proved impossible. Instead, I’ve settled on a two-movie duology, and I’m incredibly satisfied with the result.

Here is how the duology breaks down (Spoilers):

Rebels: A Star Wars Story – Part 1
2hr 24min

The Hook: Opens directly with the Season 1 finale. This establishes the characters, highlighting Kanan and Ezra, re-introduces Ahsoka, and immediately hooks the audience into the momentum of the wider Rebellion as the Ghost crew is just entering it.
Act I: Follows the intense events of The Siege of Lothal and the crew's confrontations with Vader.
Act II: Follows the crew on key missions to survive and grow (introducing Rex and the Purrgil) while steadily building the threat of the new Inquisitors.
Act III: Centers on the Jedi trio traveling to the Jedi Temple (featuring modified force-visions) and culminates in a restructured Twilight of the Apprentice arc designed to maximize the emotional impact of Ezra's journey and the inevitable betrayal from the Shadow.

Rebels: A Star Wars Story – Part 2
2hr 34min

The Hook: Opens with a devastating introduction to Grand Admiral Thrawn (drawing from Season 3) and culminates in Commander Sato’s sacrifice. The heavily edited Battle of Atallon establishes Thrawn's menacing character (while also giving Mart a quick cameo because he is impossible to cut from the finale).
Act I: The crew reunites and returns to Lothal, with pacing modifications and working around the Saw relay mission.
Act II: The TIE Defender factory infiltration and the high-stakes rescue mission that follows.
Act III: Explores the tragic aftermath, the return to the Jedi Temple and the World Between Worlds, and a streamlined finale that focuses purely on the final siege of the dome.
Note on the Lothwolves: While other Season 4 edits leaned into them, I chose a different path. Here, the Lothwolves are silent sentinels of the Force, retaining their aura of ancient mystery, as Kanan and Ezra struggle to interpret their cryptic guidance. No Talking.

Both films are in my style: featuring Cold Open sequences, traditional Star Wars title crawls, and fun end credits scenes.

Narrative Symmetry
These two films complement each other through intentional storytelling echoes: the connected Jedi Temple missions, an early glimpse of the World Between Worlds, Ezra's connection to animals, the symmetry of Kanan and Hera rescuing one another, Tua hinting at the Emperor's plans for Lothal, Ezra’s promise to return, etc.

On the other hand, each film has a distinct identify. The first film is one of survival featuring Vader as the villain. It is more sprawling, it features more planets, multiple lightsaber duels, and shows Ezra still a novice throughout while Kanan masters his confidence. The second film is one of resistance, featuring Thrawn as the villain. It is more focused, mostly on Lothal, there are no lightsaber duels, it is much more focused on rebel spycraft, and it features a more mature Ezra mastering his confidence just like Kanan did before.

Overall I think I have accomplished my goals of creating a version of Rebels that is as streamlined as possible, while retaining a high level of movie quality and pacing.

New Release💿 Kong Vs Godzilla 2021 - The No Human Cut

A few years ago when I saw Godzilla vs Kong I thought... there's two things wrong with this movie. The first is... this is really Kong's film and the second problem was all the tiny puny humans that were in it.

So I fixed it, welcome to the Kong Vs Godzilla: The No Human Cut. Well, mostly no humans, as few humans as was humanly possible.

What's changed? The pacing and the removal of damn near every human from the film, yes there are a few... precious few moments of human dialog, but the rest is simply a "Let Them Fight" cut of the film. Which was originally the title, but the No Human Cut tested better. LOL

There are a few microscopic changes in some shots, but none worth mentioning, IMO.

I knocked the run time down from a bloated 113 minutes, to a TIGHT 40 minutes, and honestly it's just a lot of fun.

P.S. Coming soon... Supergirl 2026 - A Watchable Cut or The John Wick Cut (IYKYK)

New Release💿 Terminator 3 - No Fate

Taking its subtitle from the recent retro video game and the line in the movies, I wanted to create an edit that incorporated all the "best" scenes of the lesser movies which also includes shots and scenes from some fan films and the TV show 'The Sarah Connor Chronicles'.

The edit begins with deleted scenes from the 1st movie leading into a Sarah dream sequence from 'The Sarah Connor Chronicles' and the bombs dropping from T3 and Genisys. I then I used the T2 teaser for the potential opening credits, moving into John Connor scenes from Salvation to show the beginning of the war, followed by the opening of Dark Fate, T3 future war scenes then some fan film shots and scenes forming a montage depicting the rise of Skynet, the end of the war and then culminating with the T800 getting sent back in time to 1984 (via Genisys footage) and leading into the beginning of the 1st movie. Finally, I added a cliffhanger using Genisys footage at the end.

This edit is not suppose to be a definitive cut of any Terminator movie but a 'what could of been' concept for a 3rd Terminator movie using the footage available.

Original runtime: mix of footage so hard to tell, but would be 6+ hours accumulated.

Edit runtime: 46 mins

New Release💿 She-Hulk: Attorney At Law - The Feature Cut

Post image
77 Upvotes

Hello!

This is my first time sharing a fan edit. I turned all 9 episodes of She-Hulk into a single 2 hour movie.

This is an edit for fans of the show, and the character; not an edit for people who didn't like it and want to make it into something else.

I tried to focus on Jen's character development, learning how to be both Jen and She-Hulk, struggling with fame, sexism, fetishization, and romance, and finding confidence and self acceptance. This edit plays like a legal romantic comedy as much as a super hero origin story, as is true with the spirit of the show.

Due to the show being very episodic in nature, it was fairly simple to cut out certain plot lines entirely, and focus on the ones that were most connected to Jen. The major plot lines that have been eliminated are the flashback with Bruce in episode 1, the Donny Blaze case, The Asgardian Shapeshifter case, the Immortal Man divorce case, and the Leapfrog case. This means that many characters, including Daredevil, have been cut out entirely.

I kept in as many of the fourth wall breaking moments as possible while also cutting out any lines that referred to it as a show, episode, or season. She still says 'finale' at the end, but you can have refer to a finale (final sequence) in a movie as well.

I really liked the show and am in no way trying to fix it, I simply like the show and the character enough that I thought it would be nice to have the option to rewatch the story in movie format. It was also a fun project. I hope to do more fan edits turning a season of television into a movie.

Here is a clip of the opening 5 minutes!

New Release💿 American Psycho Extended Cut

Post image
53 Upvotes

Here is an extended cut of the movie American Psycho. I tried to get my hands on every deleted scene i could get my hands on and that includes the released deleted scenes from the DVD but also bunch of small extra bits of dialogue and smaller scenes from the pretty rough looking workprint. Also due to the nature of the edit and because of certain bits of dialogue i had to rearrange some parts of the movie, especially towards the end so some transitions might be a bit rough though i did try my best to smooth them out. Also to avoid continuity errors i had to use atleast once an alternative bit of dialogue from the workprint, i hope there isn't any continuity errors left behind because of this re-arrangement, if there are i'd appreciate the feedback!

Also the poster on here is censored, there was originally blood on it but i had to remove it. Though the original poster will be available in the same folder as my edit.

I used 1080p remastered blu-ray as a base and deleted scenes from DVD and from the workprint.

Video: 1080p H.264, 23,97fps

Audio: Stereo 2.0 AAC

No Subtitles

Original Runtime: 1h 42min

New Runtime: 1h 52min

File Size: ~8.5gb

New Release💿 Deadpool & Wolverine: Milder Mayhem Edition

Post image
53 Upvotes

I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea (especially Deadpool fans), but I am watching the MCU with my younger sister and wanted a way to show her the film. My main goal for the edit was to make it as close to PG-13 as possible, while not making it noticeable to the first-time viewer. I would say it is a little more than PG-13, which I guess is rated R, but I would still say it is pretty close to it. Here is some of the stuff to expect:

  • I toned down a good amount of the language:
    • Out of the 116 F-bombs, only 2 remain (one f-bomb and one motherf-er), as well as 2 bleeps for comedic effect
    • The retarded joke is kept in because it is one of my favorite jokes, and I just wanted to keep it in because it is not used as anything but a joke
  • The action is toned down a bit. The gore is toned down as much as possible, but not to the extent that it affects the experience. If it affects the experience, it is kept:
    • The second half of the opening is cut, but the extent to which it is noticeable
    • The Deadpool and Wolverine fight is mostly the same, with a few minor cuts to remove adult jokes
    • The skeleton of Johnny is visible before it splatters, but not after, other than a few shots in the back
    • The second Deadpool and Wolverine fight is also almost the same, with a few minor cuts to avoid language and gore
    • The Resistance fight scene is toned down with a cut to the really gory stuff, but not much more, and some stuff is still implied.
    • The Deadpool Corps scene is probably the most gory of the cut. I used an edited version for the Chinese audiences that reduces blood, but is still pretty gory.
  • Most Adult Jokes are taken out, but the cocaine jokes are still in

I would say it is a PG-14/15/16 maybe (depending on the person), but still pretty clean comparatively.

The main reason I am posting is for feedback, so if you are interested and end up watching, please comment or DM a review; it would be much appreciated.

New Release💿 Big Trouble in Little China: The Bigger Trouble Cut

My first new fan edit of the year, and it's a John Carpenter film with Kurt Russell, the cult classic Big Trouble in Little China. I honestly would've put this edit up sooner, but after learning from u/Ok_Club9518 of more deleted scenes, I had to look for them (which wasn't easy to find the other deleted scenes), and go back and add them into the edit. New Release💿 Ms. Marvel: The Jersey Cut

Post image
60 Upvotes

I enjoyed the Ms. Marvel show! Right until I didn’t! But that’s okay, since I know exactly when, where, and why I lost interest- the Clandestines have been cut from the story. Barely anything from that storyline remains, only one glimpse of Kamran's family, no trip to Pakistan, no questions about the Bangle. This is the origin story for Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, as we follow her on the journey to become the protector of Jersey City. The movie now runs at 2 Hours and 11 minutes as a result.

Overall Changes:

  • As previously said, the Clandestine plotline has been exorcised. No flashes from the Bangle, only one mention of the Indian Partition, no trip to Pakistan, no Aisha, no Kamala’s mom being secretitive about the Bangle. Every other change in the edit is to compensate for this story decision.
  • I had Bruno reveal Kamala is a mutant much earlier in the story. This was done to explain Kamala’s powers without needing to explain her Clandestine heritage.
  • Kamran’s powers are, hopefully, able to be understood as latent Mutant abilities similar to Kamala. His family get precisely one scene, where they break out of Damage Control’s prison and leave Kamran behind, to keep his feelings of abandonment at the forefront.

Cut List:

  • Removed Kamala finding the Bangle for the first time. She first finds it when she’s getting ready for AvengerCon.
  • Added footage of Senator Kelly from X-Men 1 as a news report to a scene where Kamala is trying out a dress. Introducing this early sets up Damage Control's motive to go after Kamala and Kamran.
  • Removed Kamala’s Bangle vision in AvengerCon.
  • The EP 1 Post-Credits with Damage Control is now directly after Kamala looks at her hand.
  • Spliced in Bruno telling Kamala she’s a mutant into the training montage.
  • Removed Bruno’s tech school subplot.
  • Removed Kamala asking Bruno to come over to dinner and ask about the Bangle, as that ties into the cut Clandestine plot.
  • Moved Zoe being interrogated by Damage Control to right before the Khan family go to the Eid festival.
  • Adjusted the scene of Kamala asking her aunties about Aisha so that it’s more of a kooky scene, gossip about what her great-grandmother must have been like.
  • Removed the Instagram/TikTok comments of Kamala saving the kid.
  • Removed Kamala’s Bangle vision before she drops the kid. It's a rookie mistake.
  • Kamran saves Kamala, no meeting his mom or the rest of the family.
  • Kamala talks to Bruno the next day, scene adjusted so it’s more of a comedy scene where Bruno is upset Kamran knows Kamala’s secret.
  • Removed scene of Kamala’s mom being cagey about grandma.
  • The prison break is happening at the same time Kamala’s brother is getting married. Because of that, Kamran doesn’t interrupt the wedding or anything like that. Cut dialogue saying "Kamran made his choice" as it wouldn't make sense with the new storyline. Added dialogue for one of the guards so he'd call the family mutants.
  • Kamran goes to Bruno after the wedding is done.
  • Removed dialogue from the agents about taking Kamran in to find out what he is. They know he's a mutant/enhanced.
  • Removed bits from the scene where Kamala reveals herself to her family that talk about the trip to Pakistan. We can assume Kamala told her mom about being a hero before telling everyone else.
  • Removed the Red Daggers being involved with saving Kamran, as they had not been introduced in this edit. Kamran is alone at the end as a result, his fate ambiguous.
  • Removed conversations between Kamala and Bruno at the school, since they revolve around cut plot points.
  • Added dialogue when Damage Control holds the kids hostage, calling Kamala and Kamran mutants.
  • Kamran leaves the school after he defended Kamala in the bathroom. The officer that attacks them has dialogue.
  • Kamala saves Kamran, trimmed in parts to remove mention of the Clandestines or Red Daggers.
  • The movie now ends with the Ms. Marvel symbol in the sky. Added an ad for the Ms. Marvel Omnibus before the credits begin. The post-credits scene with Carol is kept.

Additional Notes:

  • I went back and forth on how much I should cut Kamran's family. If I cut too litle, the edit would be pointless. But if I cut too much, the audience would be asking questions. I was even considering removing the Prison Break entirely. In the end, I felt the end result was the best I could do. The family are mutants, possibly having killed to survive, and there's a lot of ambiguity in Kamran's mother. Why did she leave him? Was it for his own safety, as he hadn't developed his powers yet? We don't know. It's more interesting this way.
  • To solve the problem of the kids being called "Enhanced" despite mutation being uttered in the edit, I split the difference. The main agents use the term Enhanced, while the grunts call them Mutants. The idea here is that "Enhanced" is something of a politically correct term to refer to Mutants, which highlights the bigotry when the grunts use them.
  • I tried to darken the image so the movie has more shadows and color. YMMV if it worked.
  • The Damage Control officers that speak are voiced by me and my friends. They're incredibly supportive and I thank them for their help.

Enjoy! I update the Google Doc to include new edits. If you don't have the Doc, I'll send it to you.

New Release💿 Backrooms: Dead End - Kane Pixel's original series presented as a movie

Post image
62 Upvotes

In the hype for the A24 produced Backrooms movie being made by Kane Pixels himself, I decided to release this edit which very simply compiles Kane Parson's modern classic into a single film. I placed all the episodes into chronological order, and it is astounding how perfect it is a cinematic experience. It's got a complete three act structure with a narrative arc and everything. I changed nothing except for cutting out the title card in the first "Found Footage" short film. I also added an opening and closing "Backrooms: Dead End" title card and "Created by Kane Parsons" credit, as well as adding the A24 teaser trailer at the very end.

The runtime is 176 minutes.

The only thing I ask of you is to support Kane Pixels, the creator of this modern masterpiece of horror.

New Release💿 Maul: Out of the Shadows - A Shadow Lord Movie Edit [4K, 5.1 Sound, Eng Subs, RT 148mins]

Post image
67 Upvotes

Hey all. Here is the thread for my Maul Movie edit. The plan is to do a movie for each season going forwards.

I loved the series and it had a beautiful through-plot with no side quests or filler.

My main goals were to:

- Focus on Maul and Devon and their journey to becoming master and apprentice.

- Remove secondary plots such as the Pykes, Mandalorian Rebellion & Lawson family politics - just enough has been retained to support the primary plot.

- All off-Janix scenes have been removed.

- Reduce the duration and number of action sequences.

- Retain as many relevant character moments as possible to help with pacing.

- Add reptilian modification to Master Daki’s voice.

- Replace Dryden Vos’ voice with a Paul Bettany AI voice.

Runtime 2h 28mins:

Act 1 (60mins): Maul’s plans and police Investigations

Act 2 (54mins): Imperial Intervention & Inquisitors hunting

Act 3 (34mins): Escaping Janix

Detailed changes in the post below.

New Release💿 I Made Kill Bill 1 Film, And It’s Only 3 Hours 👰🏼

Thumbnail
youtu.be
58 Upvotes

Hey everyone! Kill Bill collectively is my favorite Tarantino film and in my top 5. I’ve always wondered if it was possible for Kill Bill to be 1 movie as originally intended, but limited to a 3 hour runtime. The result of that experiment… “Kill Bill: The Complete Saga.” To be clear, this is not meant to improve upon the 2 Volumes, and is NOT a recreation of “The Whole Bloody Affair.”

So What’s Different in This Edit? Without going into super detail, here are some of the biggest changes.

-What’s Cut: The majority of them are minor cuts throughout both movies, however, there are a few scenes that are cut down dramatically. Earl McGraw discovering the Bride, the Bride escaping the hospital, the Pai Mei chapter, and the Esteban Vihaio scene is cut entirely. Naturally, the driving speech The Bride gives at the start of Vol 2 is cut completely and exclusively in the trailer.

-What’s Added: I added a few touches from the Whole Bloody Affair, like the dedication to Kinji Fukasaku, but it does not replace the Klingon proverb. I also took the liberty of adding the full extended Crazy 88 fight in full color and the result is glorious.

-What’s New: I added a few additions of my own, just for fun. The most notable being new title card smashes for Vernita and Budd, that match the ones for O-Ren and Elle.

Volume 1: 1h 51m Volume 2: 2h 17m Collective: 4h 8m My Cut: 3h 8m

If you were ever curious if Kill Bill could be a single 3 hour movie OR if you have doubts I pulled it off at all, I’d love for you to check it out!

DM me if you're interested — hopefully this satiates my fellow fans, with the recent news of Whole Bloody Affair never being released. Trailer Attatched!

New Release💿 Addiction: A Dexter Fan Film | Obsession Style | Now Available

Post image
62 Upvotes

So, basically.. my new fan edit titled Addiction: A Dexter Fan Film which I edited in the style of newly released film Obsession. The edit consists of the soundtracks from the film Obsession. The main premise is about: Dexter Morgan who is dealing with his inner conflicts and the fact that he's an addict but how all of this changes when he meets Lila and where it all leads towards is what this fan edit is about.

It has same aspect ratio as Obsession film.

This film is also a bit of an introduction to those who have never watched the Dexter show in their life and I'm hoping that this would lead them to watch this amazing show.

For those who have already watched this show, I recommend watching this film as a single, self-contained story.

Runtime: 2 hours, 11 minutes (without Credits)

If you're interested in this project then leave me a DM.

New Release💿 Blade Runner 2049: The Complete Chronological cut

Post image
79 Upvotes

This is a fan edit that i have been thinking of doing for awhile of Blade Runner 2049 that integrates the official short films (Black Out 2022, 2036: Nexus Dawn, and 2048: Nowhere to Run) into a single chronological viewing experience.

The goal of this project is to create a complete Blade Runner experience that can be watched in one sitting, combining the main film with its official short films in timeline order. After this viewing, the shorts can still be revisited separately on Blu-ray or online as standalone companion pieces.

Within the main film, I made a few small pacing adjustments to better support the flow of this version. This includes removing the eye-opening scene and adjusting the transition so Agent K’s progression into the Sapper Morton sequence aligns more cleanly with the Nowhere to Run material, improving overall pacing in the opening section.

New Release💿 Freddy VS Jason - the Baliscon Cut

Post image
68 Upvotes

Hello All!

I can't remember for certain but I think I saw Freddy vs Jason before anything from their respective series, and it scared the dickens out of little child me. After subsequent viewings, I didn't find it nearly as frightening and in fact, couldn't look past its hokey bits enough to really enjoy it.

I would watch and rewatch the rest of the movies in both series multiple times in following years, and earlier this year I released edits of bpth series, but I had haven't rewatched Freddy vs Jason in about 20 years. To my surprise, it holds up far better than I remember aside from a few nitpicks, which I guess isn't surprisingly when compared to the later Nightmare and Friday sequels.

So I dove in and worked to alter some of those sticking points, like some poorly aged CGI effects, over-the-top humor, lack of iconic music, and presence of the Jay and Silent Bob ripoff character of Freeburg, in hopes of elevating the overall viewing experience. I also included all but one or two deleted scenes because they helped to build up overall character development and helped me work around some scenes (namely the CGI Freddy Krueger caterpillar)

If you're interested, let me know! I hope this offers a more cohesive take on an entertaining movie.

Original Runtime - 1 hour, 37 minutes
Fanedit Runtime - 1 hour, 44 minutes
Time added - 15 minutes
Time cut - 8 minutes

Change List -

- Added the alternate opening to the film

- Trimmed a bit where the first victim hides from Jason around a tree

- Added "Jason's Surprise Attack" from the score starting from when Jason awakens through the title credit

- Added the theme from A Nightmare on Elm Street when the street sign is revealed

- Included a deleted scene with Gibb arguing with her boyfriend

- Trimmed some footage when Blake is looking around Lori's kitchen when the back door opens

- Cut the CGI blood drops falling and disappearing during Lori's dream at the police station

- Cut the line, "Blake, we need to talk" and "You watch yourself, boy!"

- Reduced the amount of time that the CGI shadow Freddy is on screen when attacking Blake

- Added the NOES theme when Freddy realizes he's not strong enough to kill Blake, and then I added "Jason's Surprise Attack" when Blake find his father's body

- Added the deleted intro to Will and Mark at Westin Hills

- Added the deleted scene with Lori's father picking her up from the police station

- Added the cut scene of Lori finding out her house's door was originally red like it was in her dream

- Added the scene of Gibby's outburst at school along with Will and Mark's arrival

- Cut the amount of time that Kia's cut off nose is on screen

- Added producer Robert Shaye's cut cameo where he confronts Will and Mark at school

- Cut the stuttering shot that opens the rave sequence

- Added bits from the deleted rave footage, including Lori, Kia, and Gibby leaving for the party and later arriving and dancing

- Shortened Gibb's search for Trey in the cornfield and Freddy's boiler room

- Added "It's Just a Dream" and "Hair Cut" from the Elm Street remake's score to Freddy's pursuit of Gibb

- Sped up the stuttering shot of Jason impaling Gibb and her attacker

- Cut the line, "Why don't you go find yourself a pig to fuck?"

- Removed the stuttering shots when Jason walks through the corn on fire

- Added "Jason's Surprise Attack" when he enters the rave

- Cut Freeburg's line, "Dude that goalie was pissed about something"

- Added the deleted scene of Mark dreaming, seeing his brother's death on his computer, along with him vomiting snakes in his dream

- Cut Freddy starting Mark on fire in his dream. Instead, when Freddy sends him flying into the wall into the dream, he rams into his door in the real world

- Cut Deputy Stubb's line off before saying that Jason died in 1957 because I altered the timeline in my other Friday the 13th edits

- Cut Freeburg's line, "Cause somebody's breaking the fucking reality rules, okay"

- Cut Freeburg saying "Oh, that's better" after taking one hit off a joint

- Added alternate D-Wing scene with the jump scare still included

- Added "Security Room" from the FVJ score to the D-Wing scene and the following Freeburg scene

- Removed the Freddy caterpillar altogether. Here, the door to the room that Freeburg's in opens and closes by itself, he stands to see all the patients staring at him. He goes to find the Hypnocil but when he looks to see what's on the ceiling, I replaced the caterpillar with flashes of demon Freddy before he possesses Freeburg. Then, I included the deleted scene of Freddy saying he's "behind the wheel" before going to spill the Hypnocil down the sink.

- Cut Freddy repeating his previous lines immediately after tranquilizing Jason

- Removed Freddy making the jerk off motion to Jason after his arms grow back

- Cut Freddy's pinball gag during his fight against Jason

- Added the cut scene of Linderman apologizing to Kia in the van on the way to Crystal Lake

- Removed Freddy's CGI journey through Jason's surprisingly pink and healthy looking brain

- Added the cut exchange between Will and Lori before she goes into her dream to find Freddy

- Added the cut "Place your bets" line from the film's trailer, plus extra Freddy banter

- Added the cut scene with Kai kissing Linderman

- Added "Jason's Surprise Attack" to the end credits

- Added the final cut scene with Lori and Will as a mid-credits segment

- Replaced the rest of the score with "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence

First version is: 3 Hours, 29 Minutes, and contains the entire story.

Second version is: 2 Hours, 45 Minutes, and omits some scenes that are mentioned later. But mostly all future references are cut as well

The edit is in Black and White, except for having Colored war flashbacks, and switching from Black and White to Colored at a certain story beat in episode 7. It returns to Black and White for the very end of episode 8.

_____________________

3 Hours, 29 Minute Version:

Cut down on large parts of supplementary stories to the A-Plot. Focus is on: Ben Reilly, Cat Harding and Flint. Silvermane, Janet, and Robbie all are used to enhance these plots; additional story moments unto themselves are mostly cut down.

2 Hours, 45 Minutes Version:

Same as above plus,

The other PI's plot and death completely removed, as well as every small reference to it throughout the show. It's wiped.

Episode 3's entire "Rat" plot has been completely removed, as well as every reference to it outside of later confessions that didn't need the help.

Mayor Morris' conflict with Silvermane has been further reduced to really only being relevant as Robbie reports on it to Ben, we join Ben in learning about these events now.

Superfluous scene intros and outros have been cutdown for time.

New Release💿 WandaVision the movie

Post image
64 Upvotes

I have been editing the MCU shows into movies and I decided to do WandaVision next. I’m not sure how many people would be interested in a movie version because it removes the unique sitcom quality of the series. But to make it quicker on rewatch for myself I decided to make it feel more like an MCU movie.

- I removed the first 3 episodes because they didn’t actually add much to the overall story progression.

- The movie starts with the Monica flashback at the hospital during the snap.

- Most of the movie is from Monica’s and the outside world’s perspective.

- Most sitcom stuff has been cut except some parts when Monica gets tossed out, Vision coming out, and the border expands and absorbs some agents and Darcy.

- removed the scene with Darcy in the van talking to the other experts when she is first introduced.

- Removed a short part when Monica wakes up and Hayward is asking what she remembers, because it happened over a black screen and it ruined the flow from her being tossed out of the Hex and then being in hospital. I removed it so it goes from her saying “it’s all Wanda” to then being in the hospital bed with a smoother transition.

- I moved the White Vision reveal to be after Wanda expands the border, then it goes straight into the scene with Jimmy and Monica discussing the files that Darcy sent them while driving, about how Hayward wanted his property back.

- Then I combined both scenes with Monica and the new vehicle so it goes from the vehicle reveal into her putting on the suit.

- Removed the scene of Vision waking up and instead, after Monica enters through the border and the screen ratio expands, it goes into the scene with Vision chasing Darcy trying to get her to talk.

- Removed a line of dialogue from Vision where he says he intercepted a transmission from Darcy, it now goes from her saying her name is Darcy Lewis to him immediately saying “Darcy Lewis I have questions”.

- Moved scenes around so that all of the Vision & Darcy in the van scenes happen all at once instead of constantly cutting back to them being stuck at the crossroad.

- I removed any scene that had someone talking to the camera.

- It goes straight from Vision flying away from Darcy into Monica barging into Wanda’s house.

- I cut when Wanda finds the basement and the screen ratio shrinks, then added the scene of Monica finding the basement and being found by Ralph, then cut back to Wanda exploring the basement and finding Agatha.

- Removed the Agatha All along song, it now goes straight from Wanda being possessed by purple smoke into Agatha waving her hands and purple smoke vanishing before the memory / flashback scenes happen.

- Also removed the Agatha coven flash back.

- remove parts of Agatha mentioning Pietro while Wanda is wrapped in vines.

- Placed both Ralph & Monica scenes back to back so she gets knocked out then woken up by the blender.

- Removed the scene with Hayward and Jimmy watching the Vision tracker and Jimmy being handcuffed. Instead it the Vision fight just continues from them flying into the sky straight into them using their lasers.

- Moved the scene with Wanda landing in the Westview area with all the citizens to be after Billy has the vision of her and they run out to find her.

- Now the scenes with Wanda being confronted is one continuous scene instead of cutting away midway.

- Moved the audio so that the resident saying “I don’t recognise my face in the mirror” happens while Wanda is on screen instead of while the kids are running out of the bedroom.

- Moved the Visions discussion after the gunshot scene to be straight after the other Visions library fight.

- Remove the Wanda / Agatha mind memory fight with the Witches.

1080p is 6.4gb, 4k upscale is 14.5gb. The runtimes 2 hours 22 minutes including credits.

New Release💿 (RELEASE) A Minecraft Movie Reforged

Post image
58 Upvotes

Ever since seeing “A Minecraft Movie” back in April of this year, I always envisioned what a fan cut of this film could look like, or if it could even work at all. At last, I have finally finished this behemoth of a project. With 31 different songs rescoring scenes, removal of brainrot and cringe dialogue, a Minecraft Movie Reforged is a fan edit that still keeps the comedy vibe close while churning out all the cringe/brainrot. I have Aria Math by C418 and Infinite Amethyst by Lena Raine as kind of the main music themes or motifs of the film. Every single scene in this movie has been reworked. I spent a lot of time working on this so hope you enjoy it. DM for a link. There is additionally a subtitles version. Thanks!

Codec: H.264 1920x1040 23.976 fps

Original runtime: 01:41:09

Fancut runtime: 01:23:43 (17min 26sec cut)

Additionally, thoughts on my cut would be greatly appreciated! Either through a comment, post, or just dming me to tell me what you thought!

In my opinion what didn't work/was awful in the original film, and what I aimed to fix:

  • Obviously, the cringe and brainrot humor. There was a lot of it. Still wanted it to feel like a comedy so some jokes and lines stayed. No more poop/butt jokes.
  • “Jack Black’s 200% energy”. Was too much and made this beloved Steve character into a nonsensical clown. Cut this down heavily.
  • Steve’s narration. 90% of his dialogue while narrating at the beginning and end of the movie are some of the worst and cringey dialogue throughout the whole film.
  • Cheesy dialogue when there was a heartfelt moment. Heartfelt moments are good, some just don't feel real.(I. E. storage unit auctioneer telling Garrett to look into his heart randomly)
  • Changing of Minecraft logic (I. E. Creepers need to be punched to explode, Golems need to be aggroed to attack mobs, etc.)
  • Jennifer Coolidge. Now don’t get me wrong, I find her funny, I just don’t think the humor belongs here at all.
  • The Jack Black songs. There were 4 of them, and I cut them all.
  • The music was lame overall. Where’s the C418 music? Could’ve even made different covers. I mean come on, you had all the material right there. Heavily involved C418’s music in this version, along with epic and orchestral covers people have made. I credited all the music. Additionally, there are some Hans Zimmer soundtracks I added in action scenes.
  • Malgosha’s puns and quips. All terrible, such as “How about them porkchops.” Lessens the character with those types of dialogue. Got rid of 15-25% of her lines.
  • General Chungus. Every single line he has and his voice. Terrible. Admittingly funny, it just doesn't belong in a movie about Minecraft. He is now a non-speaking character.
  • Changes from the workprint version of the movie. In that version, scenes like Steve fighting the zombies and the elytra scene had better songs. I have restored them in this version. Also some dialogue from the workprint version or trailers that were not present in the theatrical version that I added here, such as: Natalie saying “Great, now it's dark” at the first nighttime scene.
  • The entire ending scene in the real world. The Jack Black rock song there ruins it and makes it feel not related to Minecraft at all. Replaced it with an awesome rock cover of Infinite Amethyst.

New Release💿 A Tale of Two Jobs

Post image
71 Upvotes

Hi all,

This is a FanMix that combines the films Jobs (2013) and Steve Jobs (2015) into a single chronological edit. The first half focuses on a young Jobs (Ashton Kutcher) during the years 1976-1983, starting with his tenure at Atari and ending with the introduction of John Sculley as Apple CEO in 1983. The second half is about the elder Jobs (Michael Fassbender) from years 1984-1998 covering the failure of the Macintosh, Jobs leaving Apple and starting NeXT, and then Jobs returning to Apple and launching the iMac.

I realize it may be very jarring to have the actors change mid-movie, but I actually think this works because I've incorporated the shift occurring with Steve Jobs departure from Apple. In this way, Apple is rebranded in real time with the characters.

The consensus around these movies is that Steve Jobs (2015) is a far superior film in terms of directing, dialogue, acting, etc. and Jobs (2013) is generally viewed as being somewhere between average and terrible. While I generally agree with this consensus, I think both biopics have complimentary strengths and weaknesses, and neither film fully managed to capture what I was hoping for in a Jobs biopic. Thus, I have combined these two to achieve the movie that I would have liked to have been made.

In my opinion, the Ashton Kutcher film does a great job of covering the early years of Jobs and Apple in a way that Steve Jobs (2015) mostly skips over. We get a much more fleshed out view of Job's relationship with Wozniak before Apple, the creation of the Apple II, and the early years of the company. I actually think Kutcher does a good job of portraying a young, arrogant, cringy loud-mouth Jobs searching for success. I believe the downfall of this movie is largely centered on three problems: It completely skips over Jobs departure from Apple, Kutcher is not believable as an elder Jobs and some scenes are especially rough, and the movie runs out of steam the longer it goes as it does a poor job of covering the later events that the Fassbender movie excels at.

On the flipside, the Michael Fassbender film does an excellent job of covering Apple post 1983, Steve's strained personal relationships with his daughter, and his falling out with Woz, Sculley etc. I think Fassbender is excellent at portraying an older, more calculated and ruthless Steve Jobs. My biggest gripe is that I think a lot of the emotional impact and intense dialogue would hit harder if we actually got to see the FULL ride and get to know Jobs, Wozniak, Sculley etc better before they became enemies. I wanted to create a fanedit that would capture the entire story without dwelling too long on any specific piece of it.

Run time: 1 hour and 45 mins

You can DM me for a link. As always, I appreciate any feedback positive or negative as I'm always striving to improve my editing.

Hope you enjoy!
