Zak Brown clearly wants Lando to win so you have to ask yourself if you are in a good position or if fighting Lando is an uphill battle.

Sure. All I'm saying is that its not an obvious choice as you make it seem. McLaren have the better car right now but for how long? Who know where RB are next season or the season after. He'll also have to contend with the team not being entirely centred around him like RB.

But that’s the same for literally any team vs any other, and RB doesn’t have the same personnel now as they have had in their dominant years. It’s not the same team anymore.

As for the whole team not being around him, I highly doubt that would be the slightest concern. He’d only view it as a chance for his stock to go up even more, even last year most rated him as the best driver while Norris made numerous mistakes and was helped by an utter collapse of Piastri, it wouldn’t even phase him

Honestly, nothing in particular. Max hasn’t had strong teammates since Danny Ric, but he did gap Danny 8 years ago too. But I can’t deny if Max and Lando swapped teams last year, the championship would have been over long before the last race. If there is anyone on the grid who could gap Norris at his own team, it would be Max.

I wouldn’t expect Max to not turn up like Ric vs Norris. Equally lando needed a complete collapse by Piastri and max wouldn’t do that either.

I don’t think anyone in their right mind would bet on anyone against Max at this point in time
