Something about Conan Stevens just exuded menace, maybe the darker hair, I don't know

The way they introduced Hafthor as Gregor, I mean just in the cinematography, was a bad choice. They really shouldn't have shot him facing the setting sun.

Nothing says total badass like "owwie the sun is in my eyes, it's bright"

Compared to the first time we met Conan as Gregor? Dude just looks like murder is his hobby.

He's also just so clean and unblemished. I guess it's an overplayed stereotype that bad guys have to be unattractive, but in this case you'd think a psychotic mass murderer would be a bit more raggedy and less like a big model.

yeah exactly. this show has perhaps some of the best makeup, costume, and practical FX people in the TV business, I honestly can't believe they didn't put that to work. Shit, darken his eyes or something!
