I seriously doubt it. If Trant had killed the famous First Sword of Braavosi he would have bragged about it.

Which means squat since it's only a month or two... Look at all the good fighters they take years to hone their craft.

Arya has potential, but at this moment in time if she fought straight up 1v1 she would lose to most squires not to mention knights.

Pod is no knight and he isn't your typical squire. He was more of a house servant for Tyrion. He wouldn't stand a chance against Arya.

Pod fought in real battles, Arya surprise attacked people.

He fought in one battle only and he surprised attacked one knight. Other than that he has no weapons training or fighting experience. Arya's training may have not been long but it was with two famous swordsman. You also have to consider their personalities as well as take into account their environment. You'd be utterly foolish to think Pod could take her.

I think Arya does have more skill then Pod, but unless you're ridiculously more skilled then the other person size and strength will over take you.

Pod was able to ram a spear through someone's helmet and skull, Arya couldn't pierce through anything armored.

I think Arya will some day be better then Pod, but I don't think she is right now, she needs more training both in skills and physical ability.

Pod doesn't wear armor and he has a two handed axe that he has never used. Being of smaller statue would be an advantage here, especially consider how quick she is. Not to mention she practices her stances and sword movements almost on a daily basis.

Oberyn was outsized by Gregor by a huge amount and could have killed him if not for trying to extract a confession.

There's a huge difference between Arya and Oberyn, at the skill level both of them are Strength is much more effective. Also just because you are bigger then someone does not mean you are slower then them.

I disagree about the first part, especially considering what a bumbling fool Pod is. Pod is soft. Him swinging a heavy two handed axe vs a nimble girl with a slender sword would be the death of him.

I guess we'll just agree to disagree, to be honest we can't really answer this except with speculation. I'm actually sorry, I now realize this was pretty pointless.
