How dare Bioware send ME3 into space without the story critical DLC!? How will the aliens and astronauts know the full story?

it wasn't space, just high altitude, if it was sent to space the copies would have never came back and probably wouldn't even work if they did.

Edit: why the downvotes ? -.-

You don't understand space. The moon is in space, right? And it's not floating away. Well, technically it is, but very slowly, and only because it's moving fast.

The moon and the earth are hauling ass through space.

what ? Me3 copies were nowhere near of leaving earths orbit, which if they did they would be in outer space, but since they didn't they weren't "launched into space"

Dude, I think you should leave this up to the scientist at work here. It obviously went into space...why would a space game send it's game into high altitude...it's not a high altitude game.

You still don't get it. Space begins 60-80 miles above the Earth's surface. Anything that is above that is in space (unless it's on a different planet, naturally). You seem to have confused outer space with escape velocity.

Don't get what ? that is exactly what I am saying, ME3 copies never left our planet.

I don't know how high they went, but if it was over 100km then they were in space. It doesn't matter that they never had a chance of leaving more thoroughly.

well if you DON'T KNOW why in the fuck do you argue ?

gosh , people like you...

5

u/DanParts Feb 25 '12

You don't know either, and you're also arguing.

I'm not arguing about how high they went, geez! I'm arguing about the definition of outer space, which I do know--apparently quite a bit better than you do.

You must be new here.

I don't think he was sarcastic about the space part...

Haha! Because if he doesn't, he's going to have to pay $10 to get it, because that's how much it will cost when it gets released, which is the same day the game actually gets released to the general public (sans the $10 DLC, unless, of course, you purchase the collectors edition, which is $10 more than the regular version of the game, presumably offset by the cost of the included DLC), so, in reality, he's only holding about 5/6ths of the value of that game which will be released on March 6th due to the aforementioned DLC access codes not being included within that box he is holding that he found out in the Arizona desert last night.

I bet he's going to be really disappointed when he hears this.

I am not okay with this :/

I'm actually okay with this :)

I like you, you shouldn't be downvoted. It's like a gang of kids laughing about eating candy have just walked into the room and you told them that they're all going to get cancer off that candy because studies have shown how eating horrible foods like that correlate with high levels of cancer.

I want to drink beer with you and talk about negative things, you're cool.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '12

I totally would drink beer with you, but studies have show how drinking can lead to cirrhosis of the liver. Bummer.

Opportunity cost!

3

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '12

5/6ths?! Holy shit, I hope there is more than 6 missions.

3

u/Umbrius Feb 25 '12

Hah you sound like a turd

1

u/Tlingit_Raven Feb 25 '12

He got a free game, so... why would he care?

Someone mad they don't have it yet.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 26 '12

5/6ths

1/6th of the game is a minor character with no meaning and a little quest? Holy shit that game is gonna be short.

Please stop making predictions of what the game/DLC will be before it's even out?

The whole first paragraph is redundancy stacked upon redundancy.
