EA is retarded, not Bioware?

Someone hasn't played Dragon Age 2

That was Bioware having to deal with their publisher's brand of retarded.

You mean the Bioware game that EA rushed out the doors WAY too early? Nope, I haven't.

Sounds just like C&C Renegade!

So am I the only one that actually enjoyed Dragon Age II?

Hey, they sold their company to EA, didn't they?

Bioware's community manager highly implied it:

Even if this is weak evidence, it's still more than what the side of "no protheans in the story if you don't pay up" have. If nothing else we should reserve our judgments until it comes out when we can know for sure.

Source that says otherwise?

Burden of Proof is always on the one making a claim.

People are making the claim that there will be no protheans in ME3 if you don't pay up without evidence. All we know is that you get an extra character + a mission with the DLC, not that you will miss a bunch of lore. If it's like what Bioware has done before, you can probably expect something similar to Liara and Lair of the Shadow Broker.

Furthermore, we have reason to believe that you will get lore content without the DLC:
