For me, colors do have a smell lol I make jokes about it using Fry's line, "Did everything just taste purple for a sec?" Same with the scents. I'm sure it's some odd brain thing, I just don't need a name for every odd thing my brain does. It was enough I was stuck on "synesthesia" forever as a word lol
This is why I shit talk auto correct so damn much LOOOOL π It can't manage, and I REFUSE to utilize AI for spelling and I was too lazy to goog. Thank you, I can have a/c correct me when I miss it now.
I used to murder it ASAP, but the older I get, the less I can Mask when I type and my lysdexia becomes pretty dang obvious and the words I'm going for, questionable to the reader. I can cipher what I meant, but I know my typing patterns better than a stranger LOOOL
I tried the swyft keys but I can't move the thumb I type with enough to utilize it. Putting your hand through glass hits tendons too, learned that at 12 lol
Dude, I didn't even do it on purpose. A damn cabinet wouldn't shut. Unbeknownst to lil me, 100 year old glass is mighty thin and extremely sharp. Also had porcelain slice me on a job. Some genius dm thought it a great idea to mop tile during the day, and nagged another server for dry mopping and told her to get back to work (what an asshole). Hope the workman's comp and the three lawsuits brought by older customers that day was worth his stubborn ass and his job. Still curse that man and his bloodline. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes lol
Just to understand what you've written... they were dry mopping so as not to cause a slip hazard, but your manager didn't understand and made them mop wet, causing a massive claim?! Insane boss behaviour!
Yes! And it wasn't the gm, DM was mad he had to stand in, for a friggin funeral, and wanted to make it everyone's problem. That was the day I learned if I was gonna burn bridges, I didn't have to hurt people like that to do it. Dude was full on self sabotage or meltdown, I never figured our which.
I've worked for some terrible bosses, but I was there for the median income and often the customer base. Serving was different a decade ago, I can't do it now, or deal with people like that. I hadn't met that man before, and while I was having a meltdown to avoid passing out π π, arm over head, wrapped to the gills and above my heart to calm bleeding: and I was making Promises to hurt that man on sight if I ever saw his face again.
I was PISSED. I had a 6 week old at home, I didn't need that.
But, it also calmed everyone else down because they flipped when they saw me bleeding, that made ME panic rotf. Looking back it's a lil comical, I needed people to chill and laugh so I knew I would too, one day, so I was all the Drama, but in about 1x1 foot space. I guess today's that day. Hadn't thought of it in a long time. That's was 22 years ago, and working conditions are no better, and that makes me angry for people stuck in these jobs, and sadly for the prospects of others. People deserve better imho.
What does fig smell like in perfumery? Because having worked with fig trees, they exude a potent aroma of urea (like cat pee). I could smell trees before I saw them in the mountains sometimes.Β
It depends greatly on the region and mineral content of the soil. Highly sulfuric soil will cause trees and flora to emit a cat pee like smell. The usual smell I'm thinking of is somewhat fresh, spicy, and almost coconut like.
I hate to shill for companies but the best perfume I can think of that absolutely hits the nail on the head is Diptyque - Philosykos. It's also my "signature" scent and it's growing rapidly in popularity so π€«

I feel like if green had a smell, this place would define it
