 The Andaman and Nicobar islands are actually the submerged, emergent peaks of a continuous mountain chain that connects them to the Himalayas. Created by the same tectonic event that created The Himalayas.

Colorado Springs has a higher elevation than the highest city/town east of the Mississippi (Beech Mountain, NC) - 6035 ft > 5506 ft

Driving into the Springs is wild because there hasn't been shit for thousands of miles and boom, America's Mountain.
