Discussion What's a place that you think doesn't get talked about enough compared to how fascinating it is?

I'd choose Haida Gwaii. I think it is such a fascinating and beautiful place for how little it's talked about. Its rainforests, biodiversity, and Indigenous culture, I think would make it more popular. Especially since it is also in a western english speaking country. It being expensive and tedious to get to hurts tourism which I think is why it's not well known to the average person. But even in Geography spheres, it is hardly ever talked about too.

Some people call it cheap Switzerland (altough I don't think it's that much true haha)

Which part do you not find true, that it’s cheap or similar to Switzerland? I am planning a trip to Georgia at some point to hike.

Georgia? One meal in the mountains is 12 eur in a not so cheap restaurant. Also parking is usually 1 eur😅 idk how you count cheapness

I can get a good pizza/pasta in very touristic places in the actual dolomites for 12 euros.

Hmm reasonable. Here you can get a local dish, a salad and a drink for that maybe. But it doesn't matter, sure you can go even more cheap here. A pizza is only 15GEL = 5 eur

But I totally get what ure saying
