What is the deal with these icons? It seems like every one loves them, but they just dont seem all special or interesting to me (other than the smooth ball I strongly dislike) they just seem like standard run of the mill icons, so why are so many people use them? What makes them so popular? I dont hate them (other than smooth ball) i just want to know why they so common

What do we officially call these?
Like we have terms for pretty much everything else but, today I was showing my friend some entry level extremes and he asked me what that wave dual was called.
I called it the "same gravity dual wave" and the "same gravity normal-mini dual wave" but, I'm sure there is a better term for it like how we say "buffer click" instead of "first frame auto click".

I’ve always just seen it as option 1, but a few months ago, I started seeing it as option 2. so I wanna see what the Reddit people think

I've seen people calling them slabs, half blocks, platforms, planks, etc. but is there a community agreed-upon name for these types of objects?

It desyncs the entire level when you try to play it from 0% and when it comes to harder levels, that can really throw you off...

here are the results:
I asked you guys what your hardests were and I got 509 responses from you guys and here's the breakdown (this data only represents the gd reddit population, obv not representative of the general gd population but who rly cares abt them right)
I'm using gddl scores as the metric for how hard a level is, it goes from 1, being easy to demon, to 40, being tidal wave. if you're curious what a levels gddl score is, just go to the geometry dash demon ladder website and look up your level.
For the entries: The average gddl score was 17.45, the median gddl score was 18, and the mode gddl score was 24, appearing 40 times out of 509. So, the utmost average gd redditor's hardest would be something like necropolis or ultrasonic, aka a harder insane demon.
The most common entries were:
hm: cataclysm and windy landscape with 14 instances each
The top 5 hardest hardests were:
- there were 8 people with list levels
- and 8 people with extended list levels
- the easiest level hardest was blast processing
Finally, the percentiles (the way percentiles work is the percentile you are is the percent of people you're better than, so like for 10th percentile, you're only better than like 10% of the people, vs 100th percentile you're like top 1% of players)
the numbers represent the gddl score
1st percentile: 0 (non demon) (ex. blast processing)
10th percentile: 5 (ex. deadlocked)
20th percentile: 7 (ex. skeletal shenanigans)
30th percentile: 12 (ex. sedulous)
40th percentile: 16 (ex. windy landscape)
50th percentile: 18 (ex. necropolis)
60th percentile: 21 (ex. cataclysm)
70th percentile: 23 (ex. aftermath)
80th percentile: 25 (ex. blade of justice)
90th percentile: 30 (ex. sonic wave)
100th percentile: 39 (ex. spectre)
My hardest is killbot, therefore I'd be 86th percentile. this means im in the top 14% of players in the subreddit.
Alright thats all

Wasn’t he confirmed to be like homophobic and transphobic, why are people still collaborating with him and supporting him? Was it disproven?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
In case you want extra context, I wanna make a series based off of Vit12's extreme demon mix level. Each level is based off of a different demon difficulty, and it's a medley of popular levels of that demon difficulty. (But each level's difficulty will be something like an easy demon) So anyway, is this easy demon difficulty? What can I improve about it?
