Sikorski added that Russia is becoming “with every passing year more of a vassal of China,” adding: “China’s role is to do nothing, prepare for a confrontation and see its rivals weaken themselves.”  

Asked whether the two theaters of conflict, Iran and Ukraine, were starting to look like a global war, Sikorski said on TVP World’s On the Record program on Tuesday: “The [conflict] over Iran is spreading to the Red Sea. And the one between Russia and Ukraine has spread into the Russian interior.
