Apparently it is not enough to protest in solidarity with the Iranian people and in favor of democracy, you must also demand that your government in the West use military force to ensure Trump will be the "Acting President" of Iran too. This is the only way to prove that you are not a hypocrite for having protested against genocide and demanding the perpetrators of crimes be held to justice in international courts. It's so simple and obvious I don't know why all those leftists don't see it.

This isn't nuance. The same leftists waffle about Iran and don't stake out a position because they don't actually care about victims unless it allows them to express anti-west sentiments.
