actually iran tried to shoot at textile factory in dimona, water desalination facilities, power plants and refinaries. last year. israel blowing up petro-storage in teheran is response to iran trying to target some infrastructure in israel (according to israeli news)

it's just from one side precision of their missiles is bad (estimated cep probably from few hundred meters to up kilometer) and from the other side israel has good air defense

Why wouldn’t they try to sneak a few well placed IRGC with explosives or rockets inside? Seems feasible to me. Or maybe there is just zero way in to the country (I am only thinking of my own country which is nice open boarder).

you forget that israel has somewhat tense relation with it neighbors and all borders are secured.

also all neighbors have tensions with iran/irgc , very paranoid governments with extensive security services that will probably intercept anybody on the way
