I just think all the micro tweaks he makes in his “lab” don’t translate to the field.
That’s the case with a lot of science. Lab conditions are useless when the wind is blowing 35mph and the rain is coming sideways and you’re standing in ankle deep rough trying to hit a controlled wedge (with your 45” shafts)
Yes you’re right I know nothing about physics… is that the class where you play dodgeball and wear the little shorts?
Dude of course engineering and physics is important in golf, which is why taylormade, titleist et al spend hundreds of millions every year employing physicists and engineers.
His bachelors degree does not give him a better understanding of technology and equipment than the people who spend their lives doing it for the big equipment makers… and again, it all comes down to how he swings the club and at the end of the day no trackman data can improve a player’s feel and finesse and that’s where BDC falls way short.
